JUSTICE PROGRAM
Objectives of the Program
The Justice Program aims to train justice support service personnel who can solve simple legal problems based on the basic concepts of law and legal methodology, who have adopted indispensable principles such as democracy, secularism, social state and the rule of law, who are aware of the honesty, justice and ethical understanding required by the legal profession, and who have acquired the ability to learn lifelong and on their own. The purpose of the program is to train qualified intermediate human resources needed in the legal services sector, especially in various units that constitute the central organization of the Ministry of Justice and in courthouses and other judicial authorities.
Registration Acceptance Conditions
Students who want to enroll in the department must complete the processes determined by ÖSYM within the framework of the academic and legal regulations of the university / pass the exams. A student who has started his/her education in an equivalent program in Turkey or abroad can apply for horizontal transfer. The acceptance of students is examined and evaluated individually before the semester starts, taking into account the conditions of each student and the degree he/she applied for. Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate, students studying in this program must have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and must successfully complete all courses in the curriculum with a grade of at least C3/2.00. The minimum ECTS required for graduation is 120. Students are also required to complete their compulsory internships within the specified time and characteristics.
Employment Area for Graduates
Graduates of the Justice Vocational School Justice Education and Training Program can work as court clerks and enforcement officers in the public sector within the Ministry of Justice. In the private sector, they can find employment opportunities as lawyer clerks in law firms and law offices, notary clerks in notary offices, and law receivables tracking officers in law-related units of banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions. Candidates who successfully complete their associate degree education can transfer to the Open Education Faculty, where they are granted the right to transfer without an exam, or to Law Faculties, provided that they receive sufficient marks in the Vertical Transfer exam conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center. Graduates are assigned to positions such as clerk or assistant clerk in courts; enforcement director or assistant, prison guard, court clerk, and bailiff. In addition, it is possible for them to fulfill positions that can rise to the level of director in execution institutions. Graduates can easily find jobs outside the courthouse, in official or private banks, various public and economic institutions, and private economic enterprises. It is also a fact that graduates work as assistant lawyers in the private sector, especially in law firms, and are preferred in this regard.
Transition to the upper level
Program graduates have the opportunity to complete their undergraduate programs by enrolling in the Public Administration Department of Anadolu University Open Education Faculties without taking exams and taking difference courses. In addition, graduates of the justice programs who want to continue their higher education can also have the opportunity to receive undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law as a result of the vertical transfer exam (DGS) they take after graduation.

Opening a Program: Proposals to open programs within vocational schools of higher education institutions were reviewed at the Higher Education Executive Board meeting dated 06/07/2017 and; In accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 amended by Law No. 2880, a decision was made and the Justice Program was opened.
Admission of Students: Proposals to open programs within vocational schools of higher education institutions and to accept students for the 2018-2019 academic year were reviewed at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 17/05/2018 and in accordance with Articles 7/d-2 and 7/h of Law No. 2547 amended by Law No. 2880, Article 4 of Law No. 3843 and Article 8 of the Regulation on the Principles to be Followed in Foreign Language Education and Foreign Language Education in Higher Education Institutions, a decision was made and it was deemed appropriate to accept 80 students to the Justice Program.​
